Martyrs’ Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev observed with patriotic rally and other social and educational activities

To mark the Martyrs’ Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, a patriotic program was organized at Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy, An Autonomous College, Bela. The event was conducted jointly by the Care and Cure Club under the coordination and Mera Yuva Kendra Sangathan.

Dr. Navjot Kaur and Professor Harpreet Kaur welcomed the Mera Yuva Kendra Sangathan officials. During the event, activities such as a quiz competition, a patriotic rally, and a cleanliness drive were organized, in which more than 100 students actively participated. The program commenced with a tribute to Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev. Prof. Navjit Kauur screened a documentary video to aware students about the sacrifices of the martyrs.

On this occasion, College Director Dr. (Prof.) Shailesh Sharma addressed the students and shared valuable insights into Bhagat Singh’s life and ideology. He emphasized that Bhagat Singh was not only a fearless revolutionary but also a profound thinker who advocated scientific temper, rational thinking, and a strong sense of responsibility among the youth towards nation-building.

Prof. Aarti of Government College Ropar and Mr. Avinder Singh, Program Coordinator delivered motivational lectures, inspiring students about patriotism, social responsibility, and national unity.

In the competitions, Parshav Jain (B. Pharma 2nd semester student) secured the first position, Gaurish (4th semester) secured the second position, and Prabhnoor Kaur (2nd semester) secured the third position. Prof. Ravinder Kaur and Prof. Ramandeep Kaur declared the winners for various events. Prof. Manjot Kaur, Mr. Sahil Valecha,Rana Satvir Singh and Sukhman Singh well coordinated all the events.

Dr. (Prof.) Satnam Singh of Care and Cure Club awarded the winner students with certificates. He congratulated the winner students and lauded the efforts of club members, volunteers and participating students for successful execution of the event.

The event concluded with students paying heartfelt tribute to the legendary martyrs with patriotic songs and expressing their commitment to uphold his ideals in their lives.
