INDUSTRY INSTITUTE INTERACTION CELL AND STUDENT COUNSELING COMMITTEE

• To interact with industry and different prestigious institutes to facilitate students and faculty with better facilities.
• To make efforts for training and placements of students in different industries and institutes.
• To counsel students for better future planning in various aspects.
• To solve queries of students regarding training, placement or higher studies.
• To document record of students placed and other activities related to industry institute interaction.

• To interact with students who have passed out during previous years and are now working in different arena of pharmaceutical field.
• To arrange and organize alumni meet from time to time.
• To convey the experiences of alumni to current students so that they can learn and achieve more.
• To maintain record of alumni of college and alumni meets.

• To maintain medicinal plant garden and museum.
• To arrange different species of plants that are required for practical exposure to students.

• To keep record of animals procured, animals used in experimental work and animals sacrificed.
• To maintain proper living conditions and health of animals.
• To arrange animals for students from various sources and help in approval of animals from CPSEA to students for experimental work.

• Plan events prior to the commencement of academic year.
• Organize all intra and inter collegiate cultural events.
• Encourage student’s participation in all cultural events with necessary guidance.
• Arranging logistics like speakers, mike and other articles for running events.
• Documentation of all events and publishing them in college website.
• To procure instruments / necessary to organize cultural activities.
• To provide awards/certificates to students who excel in state level / national level cultural activities.

• To promote research activities among students and faculty.
• To make annual research planner for postgraduate students.
• To notify and conduct various research presentations of students throughout year.
• To help students and faculty publish research work and presentation at national and international level.
• To keep record of various awards won and presentations made by students and faculty at national and international level.

• Promote sportive spirit in students by organizing interclass/intercollegiate sports.
• Encourage student participations by arranging inter and intra institutional events.
• Promote the culture of participation in state level and national level events by providing financial assistance to students.
• Maintaining GYM equipment, material and accessories in good condition, preserving sports goods and encouraging student’s utilization.
• To procure sports / gym / games equipment as per the requirement of students /staff.
• Documentation of the events conducted.

• Women’s cell is to empower women and to ascertain multidisciplinary approach for the overall personality development.
• It provides and maintains a dignified congenial working environment for women employees and students where they can grow, study and explore their potential to the fullest.
• Women’s cell organizes various training programmes and creates awareness about self-employment schemes for the encouragement of self-reliance among women.
• It encourages involvement in cultural and outreach activities such as lectures, seminars, workshops and poster-making.
• Women’s cell supports the talent and contribution of women.
• Review and resolve the reported grievances against women immediately and documentation of all grievances reported and resolved.

• Create awareness among the students/staff of all programmes about the existence of SC/ST counselling committee in the institution.
• To ensure that there is no incidence of discrimination of SC/ST students in the premises
• Encourage the active participation of SC/ST students in institutional activities
• Create awareness among students on educational schemes and scholarships provided by central government and state government and the institution.
• To address and resolve the reported grievances against SC/ST students and faculty immediately and documentation of all grievances reported and resolved.

• Student Teacher Guardian Committee is assigned to plan and carry out specified activities and projects.
• The committee improves student teacher relationships and promotes an orderly direction of all the institutional activities.
• The committee provides the students with the opportunity to develop their decision making and leadership skills.
• The student council helps to share student ideas, interest problem and concerns with the faculty and principal.

• Publish of academic, co-curricular, research activities and sharing knowledge among the stakeholders of COP-BELA.
• Stays connected with community and receive feedback for a better tomorrow.
• Focus and communicate the advancements and achievements of the institution towards academic and social integrity.

Functions of the B. Pharm and M. Pharm Program Committee:

1. To design and implement the academic calendar and Time Table in alignment with the guidelines of IKGPTU, Jalandhar.
2. To distribute faculty workload across departments in an efficient and balanced manner.
3. To review the academic progress and monitor the conduct of scheduled classes.
4. To identify and address issues related to curriculum, syllabus, and classroom delivery.
5. To coordinate with course teachers regarding the nature and scope of assessment, ensuring that the evaluation criteria are clearly communicated to students at the beginning of each semester.

1. PHARM & M.PHARM PROGRAM COMMITTEE

The Programme Committee shall meet at least twice in each semester—preferably once after the sessional examinations and once before the end-semester examinations. The tenure of the Programme Committee shall be one academic year.
