COP-BELA Received a Grant for Conducting STTP for Pharmacy Faculty
Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh, , Memorial College of Pharmacy, BELA. Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Dr. Monica Gupta has been received a grant of Rs. 340,000 by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. This grant has been released conducting short term training program for pharmacy faculties.
Dr. Gupta told AICTE released the grant for a training program would be conducted for the teachers of various colleges on the theme "Computer Aided Drug Design a Customized and Innovative Solution to the Greatest Challenge in Chemistry".
The program is for 6 days long. In which more than 300 teachers and speakers from different colleges of the country will participate and later certificates will be issued to the participating teachers. The director of the college, Dr. Shailesh Sharma congratulated and said that computer aided drug design is very important in the search of medicines nowadays and this program would help the teachers to gain expertise in this field.
On this occasion the Chairman of the Sub-Committee, College of Pharmacy Capt. M.P. Singh, President Dr. Bhag Singh Bola, Member (Manager) Sukhwinder Singh Whiskey, (Secretary) Jagwinder Singh, S.
