National Science Day Observed At COPBELA

Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy (An Autonomous College) has celebrated National Science Day-2023 as the birth anniversary of Dr. C. V. Raman. This year this day was celebrated with the theme “Global Science for Global Well Being”. Fu-Forms (The Future Formulator) club of Pharmaceutics department of the institute has organized this event with the collaboration of Institution Innovation Council and AICTE-Spices. A pharmacy-modeling competition was planned to facilitate on the national science day. More than 100 models were prepared and presented by the B. Pharmacy, B.Sc and M.Pharmacy students. This type of versatile competition was organized just to develop confidence level in the students and to motivate them for participation in future events. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Bhag Singh Bola, S. Sukhwinder Singh Whisky, S. Jagwainder Singh and Advocate R. N. Moudgil. Managing committee of the institute thanked all the faculty members for conducting such events. Dr. Shailesh Sharma, Director of the College welcomed all the students and motivated them to participate in such type of creative and innovative programs and distributed the prizes to the winners of the competition. Dr. Sandeep Kumar Co-ordinator of the program thanked the managing committee for unconditional support and also advised the students to participate in such activities for overall personality development.
