International Womens Day Celebration at A.S.B.A.S.J.M College of Pharmacy, Bela

Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy, Bela, marked International Women’s Day with a unique and heartfelt celebration for all female staff members on March 6, 2025. The event was organized by Ms. Barsha Deb and Ms. Medha Bhalla, who worked diligently to create a memorable occasion for the staff.

The celebration featured a creative and symbolic activity—hand printing on a white cloth, allowing each female staff member to leave their mark as a sign of solidarity and empowerment. This gesture represented unity, strength, and the collective contribution of women at the college.

The event culminated with the cutting of a special cake, symbolizing joy and the spirit of togetherness. The cake-cutting ceremony was a moment of celebration and camaraderie, as the female staff members came together to share in the occasion.

Ms. Barsha Deb and Ms. Medha Bhalla’s efforts were instrumental in organizing this meaningful event, ensuring that it reflected the true essence of International Women’s Day—celebrating rights, equality, and empowerment for all women. Their dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for women at the college was evident throughout the celebration.

The Fu-Form Club also organized poster-making competition On International Women’s Day The event, which was open to all students, encouraged creativity and allowed participants to express their admiration and respect for the contributions of women in society. Over 20 stunning posters were submitted, each reflecting the theme of women’s empowerment and equality. Due to the high quality of the submissions, the decision on the winners was a difficult one for the judges.

The winners of the competition were as follows:
• 1st Position: Jaismeen Kaur from B.Sc. MLS
• 2nd Position: Abhilasha Kumari and Simran Kumari from B. Pharmacy
• 3rd Position: Babneet Kaur from B. Pharmacy


The FU Form Club expressed its heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and participants. Their creativity and passion made the event a huge success and a meaningful celebration of women’s achievements across the world. The event not only honored women but also served as a reminder of the importance of equality, empowerment, and recognition in all areas of life.
