World Pharmacist Day Observed

World Pharmacist Day was celebrated at Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy, Bela. On this occasion all the students of the college took an oath to serve and help humanity.

The director of the college, Dr. Shailesh Sharma told the students that World Pharmacist Day is celebrated every year on September 25 to create awareness about the importance and role of pharmacists. On this day, the main objective is to showcase pharmacists and their positive effects on health. The theme for this year's World Pharmacist Day 2020 is "Transforming Global Health".

During Covid 19 it was proved that the pharmacist played an important role in the healthcare system. Today, Indian pharma companies are able to manufacture high quality medicines for the whole world. In the future, Indian pharma companies may become the largest sellers of medicines in the world. At the end, the program coordinator Prof. Satvir Singh thanked all the participants. On this occasion the members of the managing committee of the college extended their best wishes to all the faculty members and the budding pharmacists.
