National Pharmacy Week Observed at ASBASJSM College of Pharmacy BELA

52^st National Pharmacy Week and workshop was successfully organized from Dec. 02 to Dec. 07, 2013 at Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy, BELA (Ropatr) Punjab.  The theme of the 52^nd NPW was “ Pharmacist: A Health Care Professional”.

Dr. G.D.Gupta, Convener of the workshop expressed his satisfaction on successful completion of this workshop.   Dr Shailesh Sharma, Co-ordinataor of the workshop told that around 1000 people visited the institution during the workshop, out of which 850 students were from 25 different senior secondary schools. The visitors have been educated about common health problems and their preventions. The people also benefited with the knowledge of adulteration in the food items and their identification tests. The workshop also spread the message of ‘Stop Drinking’ and ‘Quit Smoking’ in the society. He thanked all the faculty members, non-teaching staff and students for their timely and untiring efforts.
