Installation of New Powerlab Digital Equipments
New non-invasive equipment for ECG, EEG, Heart Rate, Body Temperature, Pulse rate and Digital organ Bath was installed in the Department of Pharmacology.
These equipment were procured from AdiInstruments, Australia from the Grants in Aid under AICTE-Modrob Scheme. The equipment and accessories cost around 21 Lakh. Dr. Ajay Singh Kushwah said that these new digital technology based non-invasive equipment are very helpful to research students of M. Pharm. And PhD who works in the domain of cardiovascular diseases likes Blood Pressure, Heart Attack, Blood Clotting etc.
These equipment are useful to assess the cardiovascular properties of new drug moieties which may be derived naturally or synthetically.
Director of College Dr. Shailesh Sharma said that these equipment are only available in our institute in North India. Dr. Sharma thanked AICTE, New Delhi for providing funds for purchasing of equipment and also Adi Instruments for early installation. He also congratulated the Dr. Kushwah and team for the project and successful installation of new equipment.
