Installation of FT-IR Spectrophotometer Instrument

ASBASJSM College of Pharmacy BELA, (Ropar) purchased a new FTIR Spectrophotometer Instrument of BURKER Optics. This FTIR is the latest and handy version. It is very easy to handle and in operations. The ALPHA is an extremely compact FT-IR spectrometer with rugged and intuitive design. Quality components and State-of-the-art technology ensure accurate and precise results within short measurement time. ALPHA‘s footprint only takes up a 22 cm by 30 cm space (about 8“ by 11“). ALPHA is light as well, only weighing about 7 kg (about 13 lbs). The ALPHA offers full FT-IR sampling flexibility. User exchangeable QuickSnap™ sampling modules allow the analysis of almost any kind of sample (e.g. solids, gels, liquids or gases). Transmission, attenuated total reflection (ATR), external and diffuse reflection FT-IR sampling accessories were purchased by the institute.

This instrument got various awards for performance
