Dr. SJS Flora, Joint Director and Head, Toxicology Division, Defence Research and Development establishment, Gwalior  visited ASBASJSM College of Pharmacy, BELA (Ropar) and delivered a very informative talk on “MiADMSA: A Ray of  Hope For Arsenic Victim”. He also addressed the gathering on how a person gets exposed to arsenic contamination in potable water, how can it be diagnosed and also explained the global arsenic intoxication scenario.

Dr. Flora enlightened students about Toxicology as a career and also motivated to devote, dedicate and determine oneself for the passion of research for a healthy and better tomorrow. He said, to become a good scientist, it is extremely important to have passion for research, thorough knowledge on current literature pertaining to the topic of research and patience are very important, it cannot be time bound.
