Closing of STTP Phase-3


At Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy, Bela, the weekly online short term training program sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Phase-3 was successfully concluded. From Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Telangana, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh, More than 250 teachers from pharmacy institutes from participated and eighteen prominent pan-Indian speakers spoke on "Computer aided Drug Design a Customized and Innovative Solution to the Greatest Challenge in Chemistry", "National Education Policy 2020" gave their lectures on the subject.

In the morning session, the keynote speaker Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Associate: Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, KLE University, Hubli gives his lecture on Computer Aided Drug Design and in the development of Anti. TB agents. After this, Dr. Abhay. Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Pratap University, Jaipur, Rajasthan highlighted and explained National Education Policy 2020 in very simple words.

The chief guest of the Valedictory session was Dr. Ashish Baldi, Director, IQAC, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda said that the computational approach and evaluation of the potential and properties of herbal medicines by Artificial Intelligence in the present times has been discussed and said that the potential for drug development can be further enhanced by using the latest technology in the development of modern formulations.

Finally, the program organizing secretary Dr. Monica Gupta highlighted the entire program and said that all the participants have filled up their feedback forms and sent them back to the COP-BELA team. An online assessment test of the program will also be conducted soon.

Program Coordinator Dr. Richa Gupta, Dr. Rahul Sharma and Ms. Navjit Kaur presented a brief report of the program and said that the organization would continue to conduct similar programs in future also.

The director of the institute, Dr. Shailesh Sharma said that continuous training of teachers is very important. This type of training program gives more strength to the teachers so that they can impart better training to the students.
