Beginning of STTP Phase-3

At Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy Bela, the weekly short term training program Phase-3 sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi was launched through online mode. The chief guest of this program was Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Goel, Punjabi University Patiala, Dean Pharmacy, IKG-Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and President, APTI Punjab State Branch, in his address he said that teachers in the field of pharmacy should focus on quality of education and continuous learning. In the morning session, the keynote speaker Dr. Vishal P. Zambre, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, S.K. College of Pharmacy, Pune, Maharashtra, in its lecture he highlighted the current strategy of the new biochemical chemistry of enzyme inhibitors and the next speaker was Dr. Aruna Singh, Associate Professor, Obstetric and Gynecologist, Department of Telemedicine, PGI Chandigarh, provided information on pregnancy and the clinical aspect of COID-19. In the afternoon session, Dr. Hardik Bhatt, Associate Professor, Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Nirma University, Gujrat in his lecture on the importance and usefulness of drug design. The director of the college, Dr. Shailesh Sharma welcomed the guests and all the participants and informed them about the ongoing activities in the college. This program is well conducted by Dr. Richa Gupta. The coordinator of this program, Dr. Monica Gupta highlight on the entire program. About 280 pharmacy teachers participated in the online web program. Dr. Rahul Sharma and Navjit Kaur handle the program technically very well.
