Alumi Meet and Parents' Meet 2010

5^th Alumni Meet- 2010 was celebrated on 30^th Oct. 2010 at ASBASJSM College of pharmacy, BELA (Ropar). The function was celebrated by lighting the lamp by Hon’ble Chief guest S. Sangat Singh Ji Longia, Secretary and Guest of Honour Prof. (Dr.) R. L. Gupta. Prof (Dr.) G. D. Gupta, Director Pharmacy College, welcomed the distinguished guests, audience and presented various current and on the anvil activities of the college. The alumni of last three batches were the special invitees who participated with great enthusiasm on this occasion. Hon’ble Chief Guest S. Sanagat Singh Longia emphasized the current need of strong Alumni association in the present scenario in his address. Hon’ble Guest of Honour Dr. R. L. Gupta described the role of alumni towards their parent institution and in education system. Mr. Shailesh Sharma briefed about the Alumni website of college and it’s working. Students of the college also presented various cultural activities. The house elected Mr. Jatinder Pal Singh as President and Ms. Ramandeep Kaur as secretary for the year 2010-2011 to look after various activities of the association. At last the function was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. V. K. Gupta Convener Alumni Meet. Everybody enjoyed the refreshment and delicious lunch organized by the institution.

Today the second activity Parents Teacher Meet was also held. Parents came to know about their student performance. Parents appreciate this meeting and suggested to twice in semester. Dr. G. D. Gupta shares their views and future planning’s to the parents and votes the thanks to parents for coming to the institution.
