75th Independence Day Celebrated

Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy, Bela celebrated the 75th Independence Day of their country. The Chief Guest of the function Mr. Jagwinder Singh Pammi Secretary officiated the flag hoisting ceremony. Then everyone sang the national anthem together. Addressing the teachers and students, he congratulated them on the 75th Independence Day and also congratulated all the Olympians and compatriots who won medals in the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics. Director Dr. Shailesh Sharma said that this day is dedicated to all those who gave their lives for the liberation of India and endured innumerable tortures. We pay our respects to these martyrs and offer flowers of devotion. At the moment, the NCC students and the entire college were resounding with nationalist sentiments. The atmosphere of the college was inspiring love for the motherland. Lt. Pritpal Singh played the role of stage secretary very well. On this occasion a member of the managing committee Mr. Gurinder Singh, Dr. Satwant Kaur Shahi, Principal, All the staff of the three institutes including Amarjit Singh, Principal School, Dr. Baljit Singh, Dr. Mamta Arora, Dr. Sandeep Kumar were present.
