BELA College of Pharmacy Celebrated International Woman Day

Amar Shaheed Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial (Autonomous) College of Pharmacy in collaboration with Care and Cure Club celebrated International Woman Day with lots of festivities in its campus. The theme of celebration was ‘Embrace Equity’. More than 200 students belong to various streams of B. Pharmacy, B. Sc. MLS, D. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy participated in events like elocution, poster making, rangoli and many more competitions.

Dr. (Prof.) Shailesh Sharma Director welcomed all participating students and inaugurated the programme. In elocution Harmanpreet got first position, Arshleen got second and Akanksha got third position. In poster making competitions Simranjit Kaur got first position, Isha secured second and Irfan and team got third position. In rangoli making competitions Shreya team got first position, Maninder Kaur team got second and third position was secured by Supriya team. Madam Navjot Kaur, Najit Kaur, Ramandeep Kaur, Ravinder Kaur and Harpreet kaur well managed all these competitions.

In the end, Dr. Satnam Singh Coordinator Care and Cure Club highlighted the importance of the International Women's day.
