National Conference at Pharmacy College BELA

Society of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER) collaborated one day national conference was held at Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy (An Autonomous College), BELA (Ropar).This conference was hosted on the topic PHARMACEUTICAL REGULATORY AFFAIRS: RECENT ISSUES AND CHALLENGES. Dr. Shailesh Sharma, director and convener of the conference welcomed all the delegates and resource persons. Around 350 delegates from different states attended the conference.

Mr. Sushil Bansal, Executive Council Member Pharmacy Council of India and President of Punjab State Pharmacy Council make the delegates aware about the new regulations of the pharmacy program.

Mr. Jatinder Singh, Head-Drug Regulatory Affairs from Innova Captab Ltd., India was key note speaker of the conference expressed the delegates about the recent issues and challenges of the pharmaceutical regulatory sciences. Second speaker (Prof.) Dr. Chander Prakash from Chitkara University spoke on the new drugs and rules of the clinical trials. Third speaker of the conference (Prof.) Dr. Upendra Nagaich from Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Noida delivered a talk on the regulatory intelligence. In the conference around 60 posters on different subjects were presented by the delegates. Dean, principals, faculty members of various Punjab and nearby states pharmacy colleges attended the conference. Newly elected members of Punjab SPER team were also facilitated in the event. Organizing secretary of the conference Dr. Sandeep Kumar thanked all the resource persons, SPER-team and the delegates.
