Dusshera Celebration at Bela Pharmacy College

Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy Bela celebrated Dussehra festival with great enthusiasm. The event showcased the rich cultural diversity of India through folk dances from various states, including bhangra, gidhha, natti, bedasia, jhumari, ghoomar, dhamal, dhumal, dandiya and rauf dances. Director Dr. Shailesh Sharma highlighted the significance of Dussehra, emphasizing the triumph of good over evil. Students prepared a 20-foot-tall Ravana effigy, which was later burned as part of the Ravana Dahan ceremony, symbolizing the destruction of evil forces. The celebration promoted unity, cultural awareness, and the importance of overcoming vices. The college's commitment to preserving cultural heritage and promoting values of goodness and righteousness was evident throughout the event. The festivities was concluded with prayers, spreading joy and harmony among students, faculty, and staff.
