Pharmacy college students visit Micro Lab for Skill development

The B.Sc. (MLS) students of Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy (An Autonomous College) visited the Micro Lab (linked with Dr. Lal Path Lab), Sri Chamkaur Sahib. This visit was valuable to the students for exploring the types of lab, the instrument and the new techniques used now a days in estimation of different blood and urine analysis. The students also learn the Medical imaging technology like X-Ray and Ultra sound etc. The students took hands on training and working knowledge about the machine like cell counter and the automatic biochemistry. Students took practical training to explore the procedure like sample collections and the anlaysis of blood and urine. Dr. Shailesh Sharma Director of the college thanked the Owner of Lab Mr. Jatinder Singh for their kind co-operation for skill development of students. He also said that more visited will be organized in the future of primary lab and tertiary labs so that the students can explore more these labs and our organization will try to giving best knowledge to their students with this type of activities. The co-ordinator of the visit Ms. Ramandeep Kaur and Ms. Gurvinder Kaur Rana well organized the visit and detaild the basics of test and analysis to the students.
